The statue is truly remarkable. Not only is it a symbol of our freedom but a reminder of what America stands for. As a bonus, you can’t beat the views. I spent about 3 hours walking the grounds and l… Full review by einomrah1

This was my second time visiting the statue, first time taking my teens. It's a iconic and fun trip, especially given the price which is much cheaper than any other attraction in NYC. The sensation… Full review by MekkTekk

Hi! Thanks in advance for your help. I am looking at tickets for the Statue of Liberty through our City Pass. We would like to visit on Friday, May 10th - and ideally we'd like to be over there on one of the first ferries, but the earliest time I can get is noon. From my research, it sounds like a) they don't really care about the time on your ticket and b) you could need a ton of time to get through security. All that to say, does anyone know if we could show up closer to the 9:00 time slot with our noon tickets and scoot through without issue? Thanks!

Hi Katie! We used the CityPass when we visited and got there early and it was a breeze! I’d imagine they will be able to sort you out, they were super helpful on our visit

I’ve copied and pasted this for you from the official website: “ Visiting Liberty Island is one of the most rewarding experiences of any trip to New York City. However, visitors who wish to enter the pedestal and visit the crown must secure reservations through Statue City Cruises, the ONLY AUTHORIZED ticket seller for Statue of Liberty National Monument and Ellis Island. The National Park Service has implemented a reservation system for over a decade. This is very different from how past generations once accessed the Statue of Liberty. The National Park Service strongly recommends making advanced ticket reservations. Reservations secured far enough in advance allow visitors to select their desired level of access, eliminating the need to wait in line to purchase tickets.”

How far in advance of the ferry can you pick up the tickets? Can you pick up from any Ferry location or only where you will eventually board? I like to get the tickets early for family I'm getting them for. thanks!
A:
The ferry tickets from the authorised supplier were sent to me on line. There is a ticket office at the terminal upstairs but you would need to check with them about collection in person.
