Asia-Pacific markets mixed as China's May inflation rises for the 4th straight month
Asia-Pacific markets are set to open lower on Wednesday, ahead of inflation data from both China and India. Traders in Asia will also look toward the U.S. Federal Reserve's decision on Wednesday stateside, which will come hours after the country's May inflation report.
Asian shares muted on soft China price data; US inflation data on tap
Asian shares were subdued on Wednesday after data showed China's consumer prices still remained soft, while the dollar held firm ahead of a key U.S. inflation report and Federal Reserve policy decision that would set the near-term course for interest rates.
Asia-Pacific markets set for a breather as traders await China and India inflation data
Headline inflation data is also expected from India, while corporate inflation numbers for May will be out in Japan. Asia-Pacific markets are set to open lower on Wednesday, ahead of inflation data from both China and India.
