Spirit AeroSystems (NYSE:SPR) said its CFO and senior vice president, Mark Suchinski, is stepping down from the roles. Irene Esteves, has been appointed the new finance chief. The CFO change comes weeks after the company said it plans to cut about 400 to 450 workers from its factory in Wichita.

The GEO Group, based in Boca Raton, Fla., announced later Wednesday that Suchinski was becoming its CFO and senior vice president effective July 8. The company specializes in design, financing, development and support services for secure facilities, processing centers and community reentry centers.
