Adds comment from investor Engaged Capital. VF Corp (NYSE:VFC) said on Monday it had appointed Caroline Brown as global brand president of The North Face, effective June 10. VFC said that Brown has also resigned from the company's board of directors.

VF Corp. (NYSE: VFC) is the parent company of North Face, Vans, Timberland, Dickies, Smartwool and several other active and outdoor apparel brands. The North Face is the biggest of VF’s brands headquartered in Denver and it’s the top-selling VF brand by revenue.

Parent company VF also continued to remake its board, adding Mindy Grossman and Kirk Tanner after "collaboration" with activist Engaged Capital.

Caroline Brown the global brand president of The North Face. Brown, who served as an independent director on the VF board from February 2024 to May 2024, will assume the global brand president role at The North Face the week of June 10.
