After going toe-to-toe with Garfield last weekend, Warner Bros.’ Furiosa is now in battle with Paramount Picture’s IF for the No. 2 slot. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Furiosa earned an estimated $10.75 million at the domestic box office over the weekend, while IF took in an estimated $10.8 million over the Friday to Sunday frame.

With no new Hollywood event pics, weekend revenue looks to be down 67 percent from this time last year when 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' opened domestically to $120.5 million.

Finals this AM for the top three pics are Sony’s The Garfield Movie at $14M, -42%; Warner Bros’ Furiosa at $10.785M, -59%; and Paramount’s IF at $10.5M. Can’t stress enough that we’ll have to have patience with the box office until Father’s Day weekend and beyond.
