More than $118,000 has been raised for a crew member after an accident while filming Eddie Murphy's new movie 'The Pickup'.

TV 2' reported that eight crew members on Eddie Murphy's movie 'The Pickup' were hospitalized following an April 20 collision between two vehicles on the film's set while filming an action sequence. A source tells PEOPLE they "choked up watching the video" of the incident.

An accident occurred on the set of Eddie Murphy's new movie, "The Pickup," that resulted in "several" crew members being injured.

"On April 20, an accident occurred on the set of 'The Pickup' during a rehearsed 2nd unit action sequence. Unfortunately, the sequence did not go as planned and several members of the crew were injured as a result," an Amazon MGM Studios spokesperson told USA TODAY Wednesday.

Murphy isn't the only big star in this new film; the cast also features other familiar faces including Pete Davidson, Keke Palmer, Andrew Dice Clay, Eva Longoria, and Ismael Cruz Cordova. Filming is currently underway in Atlanta, Georgia, with the release date yet to be announced.
