Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley will star in "The Thursday Murder Club," a new film based on the Richard Osman novel.

In the film, Mirren will play Elizabeth, who is a former spy. Brosnan will play Ron, a headstrong former union activist and Kingsley will play Ibrahim, an ex-psychiatrist. The fourth member of the group, a former nurse named Joyce, has not yet been cast.

Ben Kingsley is also aboard to star in the adaptation of author/TV host Richard Osman’s popular detective novel, with Chris Columbus writing and directing.
