May stargazing: When to see meteors, full Flower Moon, bright planets
Three bright planets and the moon. If you’re up before the sun on May 3 and 4, you can see a lovely crescent moon with Saturn and Mars in the eastern skies. Viewers with an unobstructed view of the horizon might also be able to spot Mercury; look low in the sky, where it will be shining brightly just as dawn light begins.
