WFP chief Cindy McCain spoke to Sky's Yalda Hakim on the situation in Gaza and the difficulty getting aid into the enclave.

There are only a few days’ left of food in Gaza, aid groups are warning, with Israel’s total aid blockade at Gaza’s southern border over the past days threatening to dramatically accelerate the forced famine and starvation crisis in the region that has already taken countless Palestinian lives.

The starvation in Gaza grows more acute by the day. In the north, more than two dozen children have died of malnutrition and dehydration, the local health ministry said.

The U.N. aid chief warned on Thursday that famine was an immediate risk in Gaza with food stocks running out, describing fresh challenges since the start of the Israel's Rafah operation that made planning and distributing relief almost impossible.
