This fragrance is most apparent when the lacy leaves are crushed. It blooms from spring to fall in pale pink with a bit of maroon to mark each flower. Flowers are light and airy, having an orchid-like appearance. While this Geranium is attractive to humans and pollinators, it will not get noticed by deer, so it can fill out into a nice bushy form as the season moves forward. (Take it in to use as a houseplant when the cold weather arrives.) While you cannot expect this plant to rid your yard of mosquitoes, it certainly adds a nice scent and look to garden displays and containers.
